Delete Your Account and Data

AttendEase (com.parthm.attendease) — Last updated: August 26, 2026

Summary

You can delete your AttendEase account and all associated data at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest method and takes effect immediately.

  1. Open AttendEase and make sure you are signed in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Tap Account Settings.
  4. Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
  5. Tap Delete Account.
  6. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete Permanently.
  7. Confirm your identity with Google when prompted.

Your account and data are erased as soon as this completes. If you see a message asking you to sign in again, log out, log back in, and repeat the steps — Google requires a recent sign-in before an account can be deleted.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app or your device, email us and we will delete your account for you.

Email: parthrathod05066@gmail.com

Subject: AttendEase Account Deletion Request

Include: the Google account email address you signed in with, so we can locate and verify your account.

We verify that the request comes from the account owner, then delete the account. Requests are handled within 30 days, and normally much sooner. We will email you to confirm once the deletion is done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Irreversible

There is no recovery, undo, or backup after deletion. If you want to keep your records, export a PDF report from the app before you delete your account.

Data on your other devices

Local data on other devices where you were signed in is removed the next time AttendEase opens there and finds the account gone. You can also remove it immediately by clearing the app's storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app.

Retention

Data Retention after deletion
Account record and profile information Deleted immediately; no retention period
Cloud-synced attendance data (Firestore) Deleted immediately; removed from Google Cloud backups within 30 days
Local on-device data Deleted immediately on the device you delete from
Anonymous analytics events and advertising ID Not linked to your identity and cannot be traced back to you; retained in aggregate by Firebase Analytics for up to 14 months

We keep no other copies of your data, and we do not retain anything for legal or business purposes after deletion.

Deleting only some of your data

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data. You can keep your AttendEase account and still delete parts of it:

You can also email parthrathod05066@gmail.com and ask us to delete specific data without closing your account. Tell us the Google account email you signed in with and what you want removed. Email requests are handled within 30 days.

What is kept: your account, sign-in details, and profile information stay in place, along with any subjects and records you did not delete. Deleted items are removed from your device and your cloud copy immediately, and from Google Cloud backups within 30 days. Anonymous analytics are not linked to your identity and are unaffected. See What gets deleted for the full retention table.

Using AttendEase without an account

An account is optional. AttendEase works fully offline with your data stored only on your device. If you never sign in, there is nothing to delete on our side — clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes everything.
